How to Use for...
Place garlic clove in peeler. Press & roll (between hands or on counter) until skins are loose.
Moisten grater with cold water. Hold grater in one hand with your fingers around the edges. With your other hand hold the root of garlic clove and move in any direction; Grate until near fingers (discard root end as it is too acidic to eat). You have just made the purest finest garlic paste! Triple the flavor of minced garlic!! Use brush to clean garlic out of ridges. Or leave garlic in dish, add oil and vinegar as amazing garlic dip.
Other root vegetables:
Always moisten plate first for ginger, carrots, wasabi, taro, jalapenos, horseradish, etc. Fibrous foods like ginger move only back and forth. Use brush to remove pulp.
Hard cheese, spices, and fine chocolates:
Hold plate vertical over plate or recipe, and move food until you have desired amount. Gravity will drop grated food down. Keep dish dry for these!
Top rack dishwasher safe or wash all pieces in warm soapy water
